The Newark Division baseball team de-feated the Clevehxnd Division team in one of theclosest and most interesting games that hasbeen played on the Buckeye Lake diamond thisseason. The pitching, with men on bases, ofboth Thomas and Schuler was a treat to thosewho witnessed the game. The fielding behindboth pitchers was faultless, neither team havingan error. Clevelands first and only run camein the fourth. Petrosk singled over short,stole second, advanced to third on an infieldhit by Straton and scored on an infield out.Newarks first run came in the sixth. Withone man out Cocanour singled to left, went tosecond on Thorpes infield out and scored on aline drive over second by A. Roll. Roll stolesecond and third and Paul groimded to thepitcher, who threw to first, retiring the side.Newark scored again in the ninth. Paul, thefirst man up, was given a base on balls and wentto second on Smiths infield hit. Williams hitto shortstop, Smith out at second, Paul goingto third. Williams then stole
