Description

Monday of Easter is the date that symbolically marks the beginning of spring and all the corresponding agricultural tasks. According to Jewish tradition, it is the day of the liberation of the Jewish people and according to Christian tradition, the resurrection of Christ is celebrated. It is not a fixed date in the annual calendar, but is determined by the first moon of spring.

After the music of the last chorus, the pairs of dancers march while chatting, dancing and frolicking, towards the Fountain. Tradition dictates that the path they take is not to "go towards Talló" but that they go up through the Cal Tresa field and down through the Can Cuncalet field - both form a small hill - to propitiate, with a corranda, the good harvest
