Description
English: This building at 2014-6 NW Market St (originally 210-12 Broadway) was built in 1906 by Wesley S. Mayfield to serve as his residence and funeral parlor. In 1938 Olaf Wiggen, a native of Norway and previously a partner in the Pheasant-Wiggen Company, opened his own funeral parlor in the building with his son and son-in-law during which time the current art deco facade was applied. After its use as a funeral home it has housed a pharmacy, a travel agency, sports shop, a Scandinavian-themed gift shop, a pop-up Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe and more recently a pub/eatery.
