Notes | miniature rugby ball, presented to Freddie Lucas as a member of the 1924-25 'Invincibles' All Blacks, signed by the entire team Member of the Ponsonby Rugby Club and an Auckland Representative, Freddie Lucas was selected for the “Invincibles” the All Black team that toured Britain and France in 1924. Top scorer on the preliminary tour to NSW, Freddie played 2 tests on the 1924 tour, withdrew from the 1926 tour but visited South Africa with the 1928 team. He victoriously captained Auckland against the Lions in 1930. Altogether Freddie Lucas played 41 All Black matches, scoring 75 points. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
