Description
English: The Han of the Honey-Store according to Strolling through Istanbul. It used to be the place where Egyptian traders sold their honey. Under it there are extensive vaults that are claimed to be at least 1500 years old (that I failed to visit, one has to enter through a shed that I missed somehow). I did walk the first floor of the han, which is messy in a way that I like a lot. There were several small-scale industries, many seemed to supply articles for festivities, shops of which were all over the surrounding shopping area.
