English: Balfron Tower, Poplar Built in the 1960s, Balfron Tower is a 27 storey building overlooking the northern entrance to the Blackwall Tunnel. Designed by Ernő Goldfinger, the architect behind the similar Trellick Tower in West London, it has been a Grade II listed building since 1998. |
