| Description |
English: (1 in a multiple picture set) We saw many formations that included a small piece of rock seemingly balanced upon a larger formation (see the smaller one in the upper left corner), but this one is the only one that bears the official name in the park. The fact that the rock seems to be off center from the formation below does, indeed, give you the sense that it is precariously balanced. Some day in the future, the white rock that 'glues' it to the column will erode until the rock falls, and this sight will be gone. |
