Földszintes ház emléktáblával. Ebben a házban lakott Kukányi Lajos (1816-1900) 48-as honvédszázados, Bem katonája, a Piski csata hőse, városi képviselő // Kiskunfélegyháza Városi Önkormányzata // Móra Ferenc Közművelődési Egyesület // 2015 Megj. Kukányi Alajos. Kurtakeszi, Komárom m. 1819. szept. 29. Magyar, r. kat. Altiszt a 37. Máriássy gyalogezrednél Galíciában. 1848. okt. 17. (16.) hadnaggyá nevezik ki a 38. honvédzászlóaljhoz. Megszökik, elfogják, de ismét megszökik. Hazatérése után főhadnagy lesz ezrede honvédsereghez csatlakozott 3. zászlóaljánál. Az 1849. febr. 9.-i piski-i csatában megsebesül, majd Déván fogságba esik. Bécsben vizsgálat indul ellene, majd ápr. 17. beosztják ezrede császári oldalon maradt részéhez. Átszökik a honvédsereghez. Ápr. 30 (máj. 1.)- százados az egri újonc-telepen. Világosnál teszi le a fegyvert. Földbirtokosként, Pest megye és Kiskunfélegyháza törvényhatóságának tagjaként hunyt el, Kiskunfélegyháza, 1900. szept. 19.
