| Description |
English: Bagshot Moor, East Boldre, New Forest. This is a rather flat open and featureless area of heathland, with plenty of gorse alongside the B3054 road and scattered throughout the heath. Terry Heathcote's "Discovering the New Forest" says that the heath was the site of a very early flying school and later a First World War airfield. The houses in the distance are those of East Boldre, and the chimneys of the Fawley Refinery can just be seen in the far distance. |
