Alton Clive Johns (1893-1985) JP. Served- WW1- Wellington Infantry Regiment- France, Western Europe, taken as POW. post-war- business (radio manufacturer), held many community chairs, Mayor Mt Eden. Captain 1st New Zealand Hockey Team, Auckland Tennis Representative Orders- QSO (Companion).
