Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Corner Shrine, Badami

This colorful deity is located just north of the large tank (Agastya lake) at Badami, as one walks east towards the Mallikarjuna Group of temples. Possibly the god is a form of Shiva, with flying locks of hair (outlined in red) on either side of his crown. It might be interesting to see what sort of sculpture is underneath the paint.
