Deutsch: Ekerner Mühle
Die Vorläuferin der jetzigen Ekerner Mühle wurde im Jahr 1865 erbaut. 1910 fiel sie den Flammen zum Opfer und wurde durch einen Galerieholländer ersetzt. Die Ekerner Mühle ist ein Baudenkmal besonderer Art. Auf einem 2-geschossigen Vierkant wurde ein zurückgesetzter dreigeschossiger Achtkant errichtet. Außerdem wurde das zu der Zeit modernste Verfahren nach seinem Erfinder Monier (Beton mit Eisenbewehrung) angewandt. 1945 wurde die Mühle so stark beschädigt, dass sie mit Windkraft nicht mehr betrieben werden konnte. Hierfür wurde ein Sauggas-Motor installiert, der heute noch für Schauzwecke in Gang gebracht werden kann. Bis 1963 war die Mühle in Betrieb, danach wurde sie nicht mehr genutzt und verfiel zusehends. Im Oktober 1992 wurde der Mühlenverein Ekern gegründet, der es sich zur Aufgabe machte, das unter Denkmalschutz stehende Bauwerk zu sanieren. 1996 wurde mit EU-Mitteln und vielen Spenden mit den Arbeiten begonnen.
