Description
Deutsch: Dreikönigsaltar um 1490, Hauptaltar in der Stiftskirche (Bad Gandersheim). Er stammt ursprünglich aus der ehemaligen Moritzkirche und wurde nach einem Brand im Jahr 1580 in die St. Georgskirche und im 19. Jh. in den Hohen Chor der Stiftskirche. Im Mittelfeld die Anbetung der Heiligen Drei Könige. Daneben die Heiligen Veit (Vitus), Dorothea, Sebald und ein Mönch. Auf den Flügelinnenseiten Figuren der Zwölf Apostel. Im Schrein unten, unterhalb des Kreuzblumenkammes die Inschrift: ...durch mich, Konrad Borgentrik[1]
