Back to New Orleans for a Jolly time - Postcard with felt banner

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Postcard with inscription "Back to New Orleans for a Jolly time."

The place name "New Orleans" is on a triangular felt banner glued to the card. Presumably other place names could be glued on using the same base card, as it has nothing location specific.

Cartoon shows young children on a wooden fence. One, presumably a boy, is peaking across at viewer from the far side. The other is a girl who has climbed halfway over the fence, seen from behind.

Cartoon is signed "Pim"; presumably US cartoonist William Paul Pim (1885-1950).

K&T divided back post card, with felt banner, c. 1907-1915.
