Description |
English: 1919 ad for Babb's Ranch. Jack Babb's ranch, inn, and kennel was for many years a favorite place for a meal on what was then the main automobile route north and east from Seattle. It stood in roughly the Sheridan Beach area, on what is today Bothell Way, about a mile short of Lake Forest Park, and was known for its chicken dinner. With that and dancing, it was something of an early "road house". |
