English:

An incomplete medieval cast copper-alloy double looped oval buckle, dating to the period AD 1550-1650. The buckle is 47.91mm in length and 28.5mm in width. It is 1.79mm thick and weighs 5.66g. The patina is relatively rough, the colour is light green with specks of brown mostly on the bar. The pin of the buckle is missing.

The outer edge of each loop and either end of the bar are decorated with a trefoil moulding. The bar is complete but features a break. It is 16.3mm long and 2.33mm wide.
