Title
BUCKLE
Description
English: A small cast copper alloy fragment, probably from a strap or dress fitting and of Medieval date. The object comprises a trapezoidal terminal with three knops and and is decorated with incised oblique and transverse lines. The long edge appears to have been cut, suggesting that the fragment results from the deliberate destruction of a larger artefact.
