English:

Single loop copper alloy buckle c.AD1350-1450. Two lobed knops flanking transverse groves (Whitehead 2016: 22, No.86). The front edge is decorated with multiple transverse groves, the top and bottom of the frame is curved but changes direction at a sharp angle to meet the strap bar. The strap bar is much thinner than the frame. The pin is still in place and moved freely along the strap bar. The pin is a single strip of metal which is bent to form a loop around the strap bar.
