Deutsch: Am Braunschweiger Kalenwall war vom 25.12.2023 bis zum 04.01.2024 ein ca. 300 m langer Mobildeich aufgebaut, um die Innenstadt vor dem Hochwasser der Oker zu schützen. In diesem Zeitraum stieg die Oker nicht so weit an, daß der Mobildeich tatsächlich benötigt wurde.
English: An approximately 300 m (1000 ft) long mobile dyke was in place from 25.12.2023 to 04.01.2024 on a street in Brunswick, Germany to protect the city centre against the flooding of the river Oker. During this period, the Oker did not rise to such an extent that the mobile dyke was actually needed. |
