Description Is this loco letting off steam complaining it is not a steam engine? Ugh, no. It is actually it's stean heating boiler being emnptied. The loco is BR/Beyer Peacock Type 2 1,160hp Bo-Bo (later Class 24/1) No. D5114 with headcodes in BR green livery with white stripe and small yellow warning panel at Inverness Shed, 08/68. D5114 has the full array of fittings for the Highland lines: miniature snow ploughs, twin headlamps, recessed panels for token exchange equipment etc. Scanned photograph taken with a Kowa SET camera.
