Description
English: Mercedes-Benz water tanker of Danish Emergency Management Agency parked in the garage at the emergecy centre in Næstved.
The vehicle has a capacity of 12.000 litre (3,170 gallons) and is equipped with a water canon plus a few hoses. It is operated by two conscripts, who can leave within a few minutes.
Furthermore it has a tow hitch so it can bring e.g. an air compressor for firefighters' oxygen containers.
Dansk: Mercedes-Benz vandtankvogn parkeret i garagen hos Beredskabsstyrelsens beredskabscenter i Næstved.
Køretøjet har en kapacitet på 12.000 liter og er udstyret med en vandkanon, samt nogle få slange. Den bemandes af to værnepligte, der kan afgå i løbet af få minutter.
Desuden har den en anhængerkrog, så den kan medbringe f.eks. en luftkompresser til brandmændenes iltflasker.
