A. En 2006 candidato del partido acción nacional a la Alcaldía de Apodaca. Casado con Ma. Elena Rodríguez, de religión católica.

Diputado local en la LXVII legislatura en la que históricamente ha sido las más productiva al crear 12 nuevas leyes y con mas de 100 reformas a leyes de nuestro Estado de Nuevo León siendo algunas de estas, la ley de protección de los derechos de las personas con discapacidad, ley de victimas del estado nuevo león, ley de planeación estratégica de estado de Nuevo León, reforma político electoral promoviendo las candidaturas independientes entre otras.
