Description BMW K100RT ambulance motorcycle. This is one of the first motorcycles put into operation by the Ambulance Service of NSW. They were ridden by Paramedics for a trial period for the purpose of first response in he Sydney CBD. The bikes used for the trial were ex NSW Police Highway Patrol bikes, later replaced with new bikes when the trial was successful. Scanned from a photo taken at an Ambulance Expo held at Penrith Panthers about 1992.
