Description

IAA Frankfurt 2019

BMW launched the all-new 1 Series. Unlike its predecessors, it is now based on BMWs front-wheel drive platform also used for the X1,X2, 2 Series Active/Gran Tourer and Mini lineup. From launch it comes as 118i, M135i, 116d, 118d and 120d. The diesel versions 116d (1.5-litre), 118d (1.5-litre) and 120d (2.0-litre) have power outputs of 85 kW/116 hp, 110 kW/150 hp, and 140 kW/190 hp respectively. The 118i has a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with 103 kW/140 hp and the M135i a 2.0-litre four-cylinder producing 225 kW/306 hp of power and 450 Nm of torque.
