English: Copper alloy

Brooch fragment (as identified by finder). From the mid-bow of a brooch, possibly a trumpet brooch as this fragment appears to exhibit a larger central moulding flanked by less prominent ones, features which appear on this class. The object is fiercely abraded. Suggested date: Roman, 100-200.

Length: 23.3mm, Thickness: 7.1mm, Weight: 3.28gms.
