Summary
[edit]DescriptionBBC Kranji coupling coils.jpg |
English: While the senders at BBC Far Eastern Relay station could operate on a wide range of short wave broadcast bands, different coils were required for different frequencies and they had to be physically installed and uninstalled each time there was a change. Then the sender would have to be 'tuned up' in a straightforward but time-consuming procedure. So most of the time the senders were left on one frequency band and switched in and out as required by different broadcasters |
