BARBED AND TANGED ARROWHEAD
Description
English:

Bronze Age flint barbed-and-tanged arrowhead.

Semi-translucent, light grey patina. Primary flake, butt area is on lower left but has been abruptly flaked away to shape the tang and sharp small barbed area. Numerous unidirectional dorsal scars. Piece abruptly shaped around all edges using sub-parallel techniques most similar to Sutton Type. Squared tang and rounded barb on the right, pointed barb on the left.
