Description
English:

A flint barb and tanged arrowhead of Early Bronze Age date. The arrowhead is triangular in plan and lozenge shaped in cross-section. Two notches chipped into the base of the flint separates the barbs and the tang. The arrowhead is bificially worked with covering, scaled, low angle retouch.

The arrowhead has been made on a mid-grey piece of flint and there is no cortex remaining. The object dates to the Early Bronze Age or Beaker period, 2400-1600BC.

Dimensions: 31mm in length, 25mm in width, 3.5mm thick, 1.8g
