Description
English:

An Early Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead, probably dating to c. 2400-1600 BC. A tertiary flake with no surviving cortex, triangular in plan with a relatively long sub-rectangular tang and with short barbs defined by semi-circular notch on one side and angled into a point on the other. One face exhibits covering, low angle sub-parallel retouch, the other invasive.

Dimensions: length 24.3mm; width 19.6mm; thickness 4.3mm; weight 1.56g.
