This exhibition aims to present the official flag of the Municipality of Acará-Pará.

Description
Português: A Bandeira do Município do Acará, foi apresentada à Câmara Municipal em 15 de setembro de 1967, pelo então vereador Simpliciano Souza, por meio de um Requerimento Legislativo. Na mesma ocasião e forma foi criado o "Escudo D'Armas" municipal, obtendo apoio unânime dos vereadores da época. Em 16 de novembro de 1998, foi protocolado, no Poder Legislativo Municipal, um Projeto de Lei, de autoria do então vereador Iran da Silva Pereira, conhecido, politicamente, por "Professor Iran" , propondo a criação do "Hino Municipal de Acará", e, ao mesmo tempo, propunha a oficialização da Bandeira e do Escudo D'Armas, em suas propostas originais (a Bandeira com formato retangular, com quatro cores e três listras horizontais, com o Escudo em formato exagonal e três listras na diagonal grafado no canto superior esquerdo da bandeira), já criados anteriormente. O referido Projeto de Lei foi aprovado em 24 de março de 1999, pelos vereadores da época, por unanimidade.
English: The Flag of the Municipality of Acará was presented to the City Council on September 15, 1967, by the then councilor Simpliciano Souza, through a Legislative Request. On the same occasion and in the same way, the municipal "Escudo D'Armas" was created, obtaining unanimous support from the councilors of the time. On November 16, 1998, a Bill was filed with the Municipal Legislative Branch, authored by the then councilor Iran da Silva Pereira, known, politically, as "Professor Iran", proposing the creation of the "Municipal Anthem of Acará" , and, at the same time, proposed the officialization of the Flag and the D'Armas Shield, in its original proposals (the Flag with a rectangular shape, with four colors and three horizontal stripes, with the Shield in exagonal shape and three diagonal stripes spelled in the top left corner of the flag), already created previously. The aforementioned Bill was approved on March 24, 1999, by the councilors at the time, unanimously.
