Summary

[edit]
Description

Otherwise known as the BAC-111 or BAC 1-11, is a British short-range jet airliner used mostly during the 1960s and 1970s.

This example is in the Museum of Flight at East Fortune in Scotland and was formerly operated by British European Airways (later British Aairways).

244 BAC 111's were built and apparently one is still flying (N164W) as a testbed with Northrop Grumman in the USA.
