Summary

[edit]
Description
English: B8001 'The Low Road' The road built by Robert Chellas Graham in 1885 had to be blasted through the steeply dipping mica schist rocks because at this point the raised beach all but disappears. These rocks are possibly pre-Cambrian in age and are part of an anticline known as the Cowal Ridge which is part of a major mountain fold to the north east of the Highland Boundary Fault.
