The growth of the school and the increased demand forinstruction in science which came with the adoption of theadvanced courses of study, made it necessary to provide largerlaboratories, and to furnish them with the best apparatus. This finally culminated in the erection of Science Hall, de-scribed elsewhere, in which excellent chemical, physical andbiological laboratories have been fitted up.
