Île de Béniguet, archipel de Molène, mer Celtique, océan Atlantique. Superficie : 0,63 km², Point culminant: 16 m. Bande de terre orientée sud-ouest / nord-est, l'île s'étend sur 2,5 km, pour une largeur maximale de 300 mètres. Les côtes sont sablonneuses ou recouvertes de galets à l'est, tandis que le sud et l'ouest sont plus rocheux. Zéro habitant. L'île fut occupée par des paysans depuis (au moins) 1815 jusqu'en 1953. Cultivant essentiellement du seigle et du colza, ils pratiquaient aussi l'élevage. En 1993 l'île de Béniguet est classée comme réserve de chasse et de faune sauvage. En 2021, l'île est intégrée à la réserve naturelle nationale d'Iroise. <a href="https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/%c3%8ele_de_B%c3%a9niguet_" rel="noreferrer nofollow">fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%8Ele_de_B%C3%A9niguet_</a>(Molène) Béniguet Island, Molène Archipelago, Celtic Sea, Atlantic Ocean. Area: 0.63 km², Highest point: 16 m. Strip of land oriented southwest/ northeast, the island extends over 2.5 km, for a maximum width of 300 meters. The coasts are sandy or pebbled to the east, while the south and west are more rocky. No inhabitant. The island was occupied by peasants from (at least) 1815 until 1953. Growing mainly rye and rapeseed, they also practiced breeding. In 1993 the island of Béniguet is classified as a hunting and wildlife reserve. In 2021, the island is integrated into the Iroise National Nature Reserve.
