English:
Petőfi Sándor Education and Culture Centre (abbr. OMK). Partly elementary school. Built in 1990. Planned by Lajos Horváth Ybl awarded architect KÖZTI (Public Building Design Company). On the main wall of the building is an OMK nameplate with Petőfi portrait relief. Inside the foreground is the OMK founding/foundation stone laying document/plaque, a plaque to Alfonz, the sport horse and a plaque to József Papp (1924-1991) Dömsöd Producer Agricultural Cooperative (Dózsa MGTSZ) president, equestrian,/ in 1978 in Kecskemét as a member of Hungarian team he won the world championship gold medal/ 1996 commemorative plaque. The building houses the 'Kluch Rózsa Community Library', founded in 1951. Nemed after Rózsa Kluch local librarian, she was from 1953,-in the former, now demolished cultural home building,-the librarian. In 1990, the new house of culture was completed, where the library was given a larger hall. An ethnographic exhibition can be visited in the local history collection of the library, which can be visited during opening hours. It is collected by the local teacher László Kovács since the 1950s. The exhibits largely reflect the village and ethnographic culture. On the upper floor is the elementary school, also from here opening the door of the gallery of the event hall where is an collection/exhibition can be found about horse sport (in Apaj, next village to Dömsöd was a equestrian sports racetrack where horse-drawn carriage races were held back in the 1980s) - 2 Béke Square, Dózsa György Street corner, Dömsöd, Pest County, Hungary.

Petőfi Sándor Oktatási és Művelődési Központ (névváltozatok: Oktatási és Művelődési Központ illetve rövidítve: OMK). Az első emeleten van a Dömsödi Széchenyi István Általános Iskola Béke Téri Telephelye OM azonosító szám: 032537. A tervező a Középülettervező Vállalat (ill. Horváth Lajos Ybl díjas építész) volt, a kivitelező a kecskeméti központú Bácsépszer (Bács-Kiskun Megyei Építési és Szerelőipari Vállalat). Az átadásra 1990-ben került sor. Az épület kűlső falán OMK névtábla Petőfi domborművel. Belül az előtérben a OMK alapítás/alapkőletétel 'emléklap', Alfonz versenyló emléktábla és Papp József (1924-1991) Dömsödi TSZ (Dózsa MGTSZ) elnök, fogathajtó, 1978-ban Kecskeméten csapatunk tagjaként világbajnoki aranyérmes lett[1] 1996-os emléktábla. Az épületben van az 1951-ben alapított'Kluch Rózsa Nagyközségi Könyvtár'. A névadója Kluch Rózsa, aki 1953-tól,-még a régi a mára már elbontott kultúrotthonban,-volt a könyvtáros. 1990-ben az elkészült az új művelődési ház, ahol a könyvtár nagyobb termet kapott. Néprajzi tárlat látogatható a könyvtár helytörténeti gyűjteményében, amelyet nyitva tartási időben, látogatható. A gyűjtemény Kovács László tanító úr gyűjteménye, amelyet az 1950-es évektől, Dömsödön gyűjtött össze a helyi lakosok, mindennapi használati eszközeiből. Jórészt a falusi, néprajzi kultúrát tükrözi a kiállított tárgyak. Az épület nyugati bejárata előtt 1100.évfordulős Kopjafa 896 1996 (hátoldalán Kohl András? aláírás), az Elhunyt tűzoltók emlékkopjafája és egy Csomafalva, Dömsöd tűzoltóság emlékkapu (2011) találhatóegy csoportban, némileg arrébb oszlopszerű szobor felső hengerében 'lapos emberalak' többnyelű Szabadság felirattal /pl. görög Ελευθερία, német Freiheit/ és nemzeti címer, madártoll, kézfej faragásokkal - Pest vármegye, Dömsöd, Béke tér (1 számon is előfordul) 2. (hrsz: '2051/5'), Dózsa György utca/út dél felől határolja, Zrínyi utca (nyugat felől?); megj. a Béke tér kis utcaszerúség a térképen utcán szinte észrevehetetlen
