Español: Es una foto tomada en pleno día en el mercado de Tepoztlán cerca de la entrada al jardín de la Iglesia de la Natividad en Tepoztlán, Morelos, México. Se trata de un guerrero azteca que está arrodillado, mientras su cacique frente a él está sentado en el trono de colores dorados y rojos, el cual está labrado con símbolos prehispánicos y ocupa la parte derecha de la fotografía. El cacique se viste de ropa blanca y trae un penacho de varios colores hecho de plumas de pájaros, su cinturón y sandalias son de color rojo; además, en su pecho vemos la joyería y detrás de su espalda, otra parte de su penacho y cascabeles en sus pantorrillas. El cacique tiene en su mano derecha un recipiente de cerámica, el cual alza como si estuviera haciendo un ritual religioso. El guerrero viste con un taparrabo blanco; tiene en su mano izquierda un escudo redondo de colores amarillos, verdes, grises y rojos; en su mano derecha tiene una lanza que pasa sobre su cabeza emplumada. En el fondo se ve un paisaje con los peñascos de Tepoztlán cubiertos de vegetación, encima de los cuales sube el humo de un volcán.
Русский: Эта фотография сделана в самом разгаре дня на рынке городка Тепостлан рядом со входом во двор Церкви Ла Нативидад в Тепостлане, штат Морелос, Мексика. На фотографии мы видим воина ацтеков, который преклонил колено перед своим вождем, который восседает перед воином на троне, расписанном золотым и красными цветами и украшенном символикой доиспанской эпохи, который занимает правую части фотографии. Вождь облачен в белые одежды, подвязанные красным поясом, на его голове мы видим головной убор, сделанный из перьев птиц, на икрах - красные повязки, а на ногах - сандалии красного цвета. Кроме того, на его груди можно заметить украшения, а за спиной - продолжение вышеупомянутого головного убора. На заднем плане виден пейзаж Тепостлана, представленный холмами, покрытыми растительностью, над которыми поднимается столб дыма от вулкана.
English: This photo was taken in the afternoon in the Tepoztlán market next to the entrance to the garden of the Church of the Nativity in Tepoztlán, the state of Morelos, Mexico. It describes an aztec warrior bending the knee to his chief sitting in front of him on the gold-and-red throne that ocupies the right part of the photo. The chief wears white clothes and a colourful head-dress made of feathers of birds, his sandals and his belt are red. Moreover, his chest is covered with jewelry and behind his back we see the other part of his headwear and bells over his calves. In his right hand the chief has a ceramic cup which he rises as if performing a religious ritual. The warrior wears a white waistcloth; in his left hand he has a round shield of yellow, gray, green and red colours; in his right hand he has a speare which overtops his head decorated with feathers. In the background, we se a landscape of Tepoztlán with cliffs covered with vegetation, over which the smoke of a volcano rises.
