Axehead fragment
Description
English: A cast bronze fragment from a socketed axe. It measures 20mm in surviving length and 21mm in surviving width. It has double mouth moulding with part of a curved moulding beneath this. It is patinated dark brown with a few areas of pale green corrosion visible. It is late Bronze Age in date.
