Description
English: A complete heavily patinated bi-facially worked chert tranchet axe of Mesolithic date.

It is light grey with frequent chalk pockets. It is an elongated oval with rounded butt. The blade is crescentic with a roughly D-shaped cross-section as the dorsal face is slightly flat. It is heavily abraded with signs of modern damage on all faces.

This tranchet axe measures 150.05mm in length, 56.39mm in width, 33.64mm in thickness, 339g in weight.
