English: Aerial view of Moel Maenefa, one of the Brynia Clwyd (AONB), Wales. There is a square field on the summit and a square landform within that, but according to the archaeologists there is no hill fort or Roman remains.
Moel Maenefa is a mountain peak in the Clwydian Hills between Rhuallt and Tremeirchion; grid address SJ087744. It stands 286 meters above sea level, and the summit has a relative height (or 'prominence') of 190 metres: this is the height the summit rises above the nearest mountain. |
