Title
Awl
Description
English: An incomplete Bronze Age awl/tracer. Roughly three quarters of this awl survives, measuring 37mm in length and 4mm in width at its widest point. The pointed terminal end survives and has a rectangular faceted cross-section. The other half of the awl has a rectangular cross-section without faceting and is incomplete due to an old break. It is tapering towards its missing terminal, which was probably chisel like in nature.
