Description
English: Flint awl, trapezoidal in plan, convex-concave in profile and sub-triangular in section. On the dorsal face, there is retouch on either side of the distal point. Towards the proximal end it tapers, as if for hafting. The flint is grey. There is no cortex, so it is classed as tertiary.

Mercer (1981) shows a similar example on page 135, Figure 59, Number L153.
