Description

c/n 72960. Built in 1941 and delivered to No.4 Service Flying Training School at Geraldton in Western Australia as part of the Empire Air Training Scheme. Sold off in November 1946 and became VH-ASM in civil use. Withdrawn from use in 1962 and dumped. Fuselage restored in Australia between 1972 and 1987. Imported to the UK in 1993 and restored to RAF standard by ARCo on behalf of The Fighter Collection as part of a larger deal with the RAF Museum. Delivered to Hendon in April 1996 and seen on display in Hangar 5, previously known as the Bomber Command Hall. RAF Museum London. Hendon, Greater London, UK
