Examples of aversives that may be used in ABA therapy for autism

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This picture shows four example aversives (shouting, forced eating of chili peppers, electric shock, and forced inhalation of ammonia) that are used in some forms of ABA therapy for autistic children. These are used to punish undesirable behavior. The use of aversives is controversial and some consider it to be physical and/or emotional abuse.
