Summary

[edit]
Description

You can see what I mean can't you? The Rudbeckia and Helianthus atrorubens have fallen sideways despite hazel supports. The Datisca and Amorpha fruticosa are far too big so near the front and obscure other things behind, such as the Crinum there.

I'm really reluctant to complain about plants 'getting out of hand' or 'taking over'. So many gardeners I know start worrying as soon as they see a plant beginning to grow away healthily, but this really is just too much. I'm going to cut the Amorpha right down in spring - maybe it'll just stay a more manageable clump of foliage. I doubt it'll flower though.
