CYCLHMEN, These are among the most beautiful and interesting winter and spring flowering "bulbs for the window and greenhouse. Not only are the flowers of striking beauty, but the foliage is also highly ornamental, consequently they are very decorative, even when not in bloom. There are no plants better adapted for pot culture, and few that produce such a profusion of bloom ; the flowers range through many shades, pink, crimson, white, etc., some being beautifully spotted. Most of them are, moreover, delicately fragrant. (See cut.) Dry bulbs. Persicum, Mixed. 10c. each, $1.00 doz. If by mail add 10c. per dozen for postage. Single bulbs mailed free. GIKNT CYCLHMEN. The flowers of this magnificent strain are of extraordinary size and of great substance. The leaves are proportionately large and beautifully marked. (See cut.) By mail add 10c. per dozen for postage. Single bulbs mailed free. Giganteum, Rose color, Crimson or White. Price for any of above, 25c. each, $2.50 doz., or the set of 3 varieties, 65c. G-ig-anteum, Mixed Varieties. 20c. each, $2.00 doz. E^YTH^QMID1V( (Jl(MDIFLOip. Giant Dog's Tooth Violet. A beautiful large - flowering variety, perfectly hardy ; the foliage is charmingly variegated, and a mass of 15 or 20 plants is a pretty sight, even when not in flower, but when the graceful flowers are in bloom the effect is matchless. The plants lux- uriate in rather moist, partially shady positions, and do very nicely when grown in pots in frames and Drought into the conservatory or window garden for winter blooming. This variety bears from 6 to 12 yel- low or cream-colored flowers on stems 12 to 18 inches high. (See cut.) 3 for 10c, 35c. doz., $2.50 100. EBYTTOOBIDM GRANDIFLORtTM. Handsome hardy plants. Their noble aspect, elegant outline and bold luxuriant foliage render them exceed- ingly attractive for large effective clumps, succeed- ing in sunny positions and equally well in shadyplaces. Ready in November. Postage 5c. each extra. Subcordata Grandi- flora. (White Plantain Day Lily.) Milky-white flowers, nearly i inches long; fragrant. 15c. each, $1.50 doz. Sieboldi Varieg"ata. Foliage variegated with white; flowers lilac. 15c. each, $1.60 doz. F=RITIL-L^RI7S. A group of dwarf spring-flowering plants, bearing singular large pendent bell-shaped flowers of white, purple, bronze, black or yellow, most of which are striped, splashed or checkered in the most fantastic fashion ; they are invaluable for pot culture, and exceed- ingly pretty when grown in large clumps in the border in a dry situation. (<See cut.) Recurvata. New and very beautiful. Flowers bright scarlet and lightly mottled and spotted with yellow ; they are about three inches long, and up to nine flowers are borne on each of the stems, the latter attaining a height of about two feet. 10c. each, $1.00 doz. Meleagris. (Snake's Head or Guinea Hen Flower.) Bell-shaped flowers of various colors, yellow white, black, purple, striped and splashed and checkered in the most curious way. Mixed varieties, 3 for 10c, 25c. doz., $1.25 100. Aurea. (New.) A lovely new species, as rare as it is beautiful, bearing large golden yellow bell-shaped flowers, which are curiously checkered with black brown spots. It is perfectly hardy, beginning to flower in March, continuing till May. It is admirably adapted for planting out of doors in partial shade. May also be grown in pots for green- house or window decoration, where its curious flowers prove a constant source of admira- tion. (See cut.) 5c each, 50c doz. 6 sold at dozen rates, 25 at 100 rates. Postage free, except where noted.
