Summary
[edit]DescriptionAutomobiles of America (3202810108).jpg |
Brief chronological history of autos in America, published by the industry association in 1961. Also big list of car makes of the past, and short bios of auto pioneers. The association disbanded a few years ago, when Chrysler went to Daimler. Only GM and Ford were left, so they packed it in. All their historical material went to the Automotive History Collection at the Detroit Public Library. The library had to dedicate one building just for their auto material. |
