Source | ENKELE AUTOMOBILISTEN uit Meppel, die zich Zaterdagmorgen naar de T.T.-races begaven, reden bij Dleverbrug met bun auto in de Drentsche Hoofdvaart. Gelukkig vielen er geen dooden te betreuren, wèl een ernstig gewonde. Een kraanwagen takelde de auto weer op het droge. In den inzet ziet men de auto in het water, kort na het ongeval..
