The cars comefrom the works of Jackson & Sharp, Wilmington, Delaware. They are 50 feet long, 8 feet wide and built to accommodate 98passengers each. The seats are arranged as in a summerstreet car, across the width. One lever only is used to openand shut all the doors, which are split in the middle andslide back instead of turning on a hinge. Capacity, 8,000 peo-ple per hour. The distances on the grounds are so great thatvisitors will find this arrangement to be a great source ofconvenience and comfort. Other means of transit will beprovided inside of the grounds. One of these, and in fact themost attractive of all, will be the means of water transitthrough the lagoons, canal and basin. The waterwaysinside the grounds cover an area of about eighty-five acres. Here are provided launches and small craft of all kinds. One can board these boats and travel a distance of nearlythree miles, passing on the route all of the principal build-ings and points of attraction.
