Description
English: Aust Cliff. The northern edge of Aust cliff. Note the boulders (rock armour)at the base of the cliff to prevent erosion of the cliff foot by the Severn. The cliff is an important geological site; Keuper Marl (red) and Tea green marl (green) overlying Rhaetic beds, the latter of which have a large number of fossils. http://www.english-nature.org.uk/citation/citation_photo/1000724.pdf
