Description
Magyar: Az Augusz-ház Ezen a helyen állott a Fekete Elefánt fogadó, melyben többek között II. József király is több napig vendégeskedett 1789-ben. - Az épület legrégebbi része a jelenleg kékesszürkére festett déli szárny, amely az 1820-as években épült. Építtetője idősebb Augusz Antal volt, a későbbi báró apja. - A középső rész (jelenleg fehér) a Vármegyeháza klasszicista stílusát idézi, építési ideje is az 1830-as évekre tehető. - A legújabb északi szárny a Triest melletti Miramare kastély mintájára épült, 1870-ben készült el, építtetője báró Augusz Antal, tervezője és kivitelezője a svájci származású Stann Jakab volt.
